Requirements for Provisional Permanent Resident Permit

Foreigners who invest at least B/.250,000.00 in the risk capital of a company within the Panama Pacific Area or in Developer or Operator Companies can apply. Here are the necessary documents:

  1. Power of Attorney (notarized) and Application
  2. Three (3) Photographs.
  3. Notarized or Authenticated Copy of Passport.
  4. Police Clearance Certificate.
  5. Health Certificate.
  6. Certified Check for B/.250.00 payable to the National Treasury.
  7. Certified Check for B/.800.00 payable to the National Migration Service.
  8. Sworn Declaration of Personal Background Form.
  9. Original Certificate from the Panama Pacific Special Agency confirming:
    • Existence and location of the company.
    • The company is in good standing with the agency.
    • The company is authorized under the special regime established by Law No. 41 of 2004.
  10. Certificate from the Company’s Treasurer or Secretary
  11. Certification from a Public Accountant
  12. Copies of the Issued Share Certificates
  13. Authenticated Copy of the Company’s Payroll
  14. CSS Clearance Certificate
